10 Random Facts About Tracy Harrison

 

1. What’s your role at Oprema?

I work as a Business Development Executive in the North Region. My role is to offer support to my Business Development Manager, Alex Buckle, and to our customers, providing them with an excellent customer experience and a speedy response to their quotes and queries. I like to help with any questions they have about Oprema and our services, to see what we can offer them to help us work together.

I am always looking for new opportunities, so I work very closely with Alex developing our customer base. I also manage Alex’s diary – the key to our success which gets him in the right place at the right time!

I am very busy all day long with lots of emails and phone calls to deal with. This includes speaking with our key suppliers and couriers, training, and customer visits. No day is the same, which is why I enjoy it so much!

2. What is your proudest accomplishment?

This is easy: my daughter Charley. She makes me so proud of her every day, which makes me think I did a good job.

3. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Anything Chinese or Thai.

4. What is the best gift you have ever received?

When I married my husband Wayne in 2014, it was between Christmas and New Year and we hadn’t planned a honeymoon, we just thought we would go away for a few days. Unbeknownst to me, his boss had booked a 2-week Caribbean cruise for the two of us and our daughter as a wedding gift – I was so shocked I cried!

5. Aside from necessities, what’s one thing you could not go a day without?

Anyone who knows me well will know this has to be a cup of tea. I just love a brew…it fixes everything!

6. What was your favourite ever holiday?

Disneyland Florida! We waited for our daughter to grow enough to go on the big rides (we are a short family 😊) and stayed in a Disney hotel – it was truly a magical time.

7. Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?

Julie Walters – she is my favourite actress.

8. Have you ever had an encounter with a famous person?

We had the privilege only recently to meet Billy Connolly (the comedian). He was such a big part of our lives growing up, such a funny man. We had a 2-minute Q&A with him – one of the best nights ever!

9. What are you most thankful for?

I have the best husband and daughter and a fantastic circle of friends. I am very lucky to have them all in my life.

10. What is your favourite season and why?

Spring is my favourite. Those long, dark, cold nights are gone, and we can start to go back to our caravan in Wales – lush!
