10 Random Facts About Anthony Davis

 

1. What’s your role at Oprema?

My role at Oprema is Supply Chain and ensuring that we have the right stock, in the right quantities, at the right time so that our sales team have everything they need for our customers.

I also have other duties such as spot rating for imports, chasing suppliers for ETAs, negotiating bulk pricing where applicable amongst other things. There is a wide range of tasks to do which keeps us all busy.

2. What is your proudest accomplishment?

Being a Dad. I don’t get to spend as much time with my son as I would like to because he lives so far away but the weekends I pick him up, we sing songs together and laugh all the way home.

Owning my own home is also up there as I never thought I would ever be able to achieve that but I have and I’m proud of myself.

3. What is your favourite sports team?

The mighty REDS- Liverpool!

4. What did you want to be when you were younger?

Originally it would have been a footballer, but I wasn’t good enough for that, although I did have trials for Cardiff City (I think almost every school child did) but then it was a Policeman as I wanted to be someone that people looked up to and that I could help.

5. If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pizza! If it was healthy, I would eat pizza every day!

6. What is the best gift you ever received and why?

My Son Harvie, he is my pride and joy!

7. What was your favourite ever holiday and why?

Probably going to Salou back in 2007 as it was my first proper holiday with my closest friends, and we had an absolute blast!

8. What are you most thankful for?

My family and friends. They have been there for me over the years when I have been in tough places and supported me with life decisions that have got me to where I am today.

9. If you could choose one superpower, what would it be?

Teleportation to anywhere I wanted to go. But I have always liked the idea of being able to fly.

10. What is your favourite season and why?

Winter. I like the thought of it being cold outside but being wrapped up warm inside, under a blanket with a hot drink watching a good TV series or movie.
